TIRA

tira executive summary
Business Problem: When a victim of modern slavery has been identified, or when social services orgs are reaching out to potential victims, it is difficult to know what resources are available. Advocates don’t want to let their clients down, so they typically do not reach out until services are confirmed. The process for matching these resources to an individual’s needs is outdated and tragically inefficient. The mix of active organizations and available resources (beds, jobs, etc.) is constantly changing, and standards of care are unclear.

Our Solution: a highly accessible, mobile-first, intelligent trafficking interruption resource agent (TIRA). TIRA is a virtual agent that quickly gets to know resource providers through SMS text messages, learning about their services, sharing insights, and regularly keeping up to date on the availability of resources as they change over time. Resources are constantly fed into our Rapid Referral Engine so that Survivor Advocates get an accurate view of the victim services available at any given point in time. They can confidently reach out to victims with offers of assistance, knowing that help is waiting across a range of providers and services.
